Abstract

The cross-talk issue in the quantification of concentration changes in oxidized cytochrome c oxidase in the human head has been investigated using a two layered model representing the scalp/skull and brain layers. The results showed that the degree of cross-talk can be reduced by using increased number of wavelengths and with wavelength dependent path length correction. ©2007 Optical Society of America.
