Somatic Voices in Performance Research and Beyond: the practices

This publication concerns the video documentation of the practical workshops that will take place during the planned three-day symposium 'Somatic Voices in Performance Research and Beyond'. The symposium will take place at the Loughton campus of East 15 Acting School (University of Essex) in January 2019 and the video recordings will be online by the end of March 2019. The documented material will be available through my website and YouTube channel. I will actively encourage the broader engagement with the project by: - adding links to social media - advertising the research through my additional professional profiles: academia.edu, East 15 Acting School and ISMETA (International Somatic Movement and Therapy Association) - communicating the project through academic and non-academic communities such as SCUDD (The Standing Conference of University Drama Departments), ISMETA and VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association ) The documented material will also become the ground for the shaping of an edited volume for Routledge Voice Studies series.
