Abstract
This paper presents an optimal power splittingand beamforming design for co-located simultaneous wirelessinformation and power transfer (SWIPT) users in Dynamic Meta-surface Antenna (DMA)-aided multiuser multiple-input single-output (MISO) systems. The objective is to minimize transmitpower while meeting users’ signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR) and energy harvesting (EH) requirements. The problemis solved via an alternating optimization framework based onsemi-definit programming (SDP), where metasurface tunabilityfollows Lorentzian-constrained holography (LCH). In contrastto traditional beamforming architectures, DMA-assisted archi-tectures reduce the need for RF chains and phase shifters;however, they require optimization under Lorentzian constraintsthat couple amplitude and phases. Hence, the proposed methodintegrates several LCH schemes, including the recently proposedadaptive-radius LCH (ARLCH), and evaluates nonlinear EHmodels and circuit noise effects. Simulation results show that theproposed design significantl reduces transmit power comparedwith baseline methods, highlighting the efficienc of ARLCH andoptimal power splitting in DMA-assisted SWIPT systems.
