Abstract
<p>In <italic>Streptomyces lividans</italic> four <italic>copZ</italic> genes are present encoding CopZ copper chaperones. Under Cu stress CopZ can traffic Cu(<sc>i</sc>) to CsoR leading to the up-regulation of the CsoR regulon.</p>
