Abstract
A semantics is given for structurally regular multi-word expressions ('idioms'), that is, idioms -- like `kick the bucket' (=die) that are mostly conform to the syntactic rules of the language, and whose idiosyncrasy is thus purely semantic. The formalism used is Lexical Functional Grammar, with 'glue' semantics.
