Abstract
Corporations need to come forward and commit themselves to a prolonged course of action as part of their social responsibilities. Immediate monetary or nonmonetary assistance is simply not enough. A deeper connection with the community and a long-term focus on alleviating the miseries of the disaster is necessary.
