Abstract
This report presents the findings of a research project examining the experiences of the Victims and Survivors Consultative Panel (VSCP) at the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) in the UK. The report makes 51 recommendations for how public inquiries and other formal bodies can maximise the benefits and minimise the harms of engaging consultants who are experts by lived experience.
