Abstract
This praxically-inspired closing chapter aims at encapsulating this project’s somatic, polyvocal and intermedia identity in researching, writing and disseminating voices. It does so by drawing from the activities that took place at East 15 Acting School in London during a two-day praxical symposium as part of the research project Somatic Voices in Performance Research and Beyond (19-20 July 2019). The chapter brings together the contributions to the project through the responding “voices” of contributing participants as intertwined in the author’s writing. Using different writing formats and audio-visual material, the chapter uses a practice-research framework in order to bring forth the project’s present advancements in the fields of voice and somatic studies as well as beyond potentialities in embodied research methodologies. In resonance with current praxical investigations and contributing to how theories emerge through practices, the chapter adds to vocal and somatic praxis by revisiting the in-between, diverse and multidisciplinary potentialities of the introduced somatic logos.
